In addition to our Headquarters, Helping Hands has two Chicagoland locations, each down the street from Lurie Children's and Shriners Hospital. By serving the social, emotional, and physical well-being of medically-impacted youth, Helping Hands fosters a supportive, engaging community among staff, patients, and their families.
Helping Hands is unique in our ability to meet the diverse needs of patients, and also those who are involved in battling their medical treatment. Our services are designed to have lasting impact on those that join our community. Helping Hands treats every member as an individual. Patients and their families are given the opportunity to engage in normal activities, while simotaneously persisting in their health concerns. During a 2015 honorary dinner hosted by the CEOs of Lurie Children's and Shriners Hospital, Helping Hands was deemed "a life-changing asset to the pediactric care of our facilities, by catering to health implications outside of emergency-room realms."
